500 hr endurance test: Start V2
Our NEANDER Dtorque 111 has completed the first endurance tests under full load successfully. The validation phase 1 of the worldwide first turbodiesel outboard with less than 100HP is thereby completed and we are in the middle of the preparations for series production.
On this milestone occasion the three Managing Directors Lutz W. Lester, Claus Brüstle and Ulrich Wittwer sincerely thanked the engineers and employees for their exceptional commitment, who as well as our development partners contributed to this success.
Motivating and also honest words described the past months of challenges, and at the same time announced the next test: validation phase 2 (V2). The revised engines, near the final production stage will run 1000 hours in the test tank. Furthermore, the motors will be tested on various boat types in different types of waters.
The V2 will be completed in the third quarter of this year, so that the pre-production can get started in the fourth quarter.
