boot Düsseldorf 2019

From 19 to 27 January 2019, the world’s largest water sports fair “boot” took place for the 50th time in Düsseldorf and the anniversary shone with top marks:

With 250,000 visitors from over 100 countries, the “boot 2019” underlined its number 1 position as an international industry meeting place. Almost 2,000 exhibitors from 73 countries presented yachts, boats and accessories for all areas of water sports on 220,000 square metres of exhibition space. Exhibition boss Werner M. Dornscheidt sums up: “This year’s “boot” was unique. Great atmosphere in the halls, good-humoured people in holiday mood at the stands and highly satisfied exhibitors. We have thus clearly achieved our goal: this magical anniversary boot will remain in everyone’s best memories”.

In the following interview Our Managing Director, Lutz W. Lester, summarises things from our point of view (from 0:28 min.):

The great atmosphere in the halls was just as unique as the great Team Spirit on our joint stand with our worldwide sales partner Yanmar  and Marx as our sales partner for the countries D, A, CH, HUN, SVK and CZE. And so we were able to forward the interested customers for our Neander Dtorque turbodiesel outboard engine directly to the respective sales contact.

The interest in our motor was big and we counted a surprising amount of potential customers for a leisure fair, like boat builders or interested people dealing in lifeboats, or commercial fishing, from public institutions, the offshore industry or tender boats for super yachts.

We are already looking forward to the next boat from 18 to 26 January 2020.
