SELVA Marine at the Salone Nautico (Boatshow) in Genoa

On the occasion of the 54th Salone Nautico in Genoa our italian partner Selva Marine once again used the opportunity to represent the Neander Shark turbodiesel outboard engine on site this year. With more than 750 exhibitors in a 180.000 m² area and about 115.000 visitors the Salone Nautico is the largest maritime exhibition in the Mediterranean area. The fair trade is situated directly at the marina of Genoa. Therefore the offer of test rides was quite large this year and the organizers counted more than 1200 rides.

After the SMM in Hamburg (beginning of September) the exhibition model of our turbodiesel outboard engine had further been modified toward the production model. Details like the tank connection, the tilt switch as well as the clearly visible ventilation intake had been installed and through the revised pedestal the model now even more appears in its slender and powerful silhouette.

 

             

 

 

 

 

Like in Hamburg just a few weeks ago at the SMM the interest of the visitors has been great in Genoa. The team of Selva had a lot of interesting discussions about the technology of twin crankshaft and the possible applications of the turbodiesel outboard engine. I also had the chance to be on the ground for two of the six fair days. Thus together with our partner we could convince many new international contacts of the manifold advantages of our unique technology.
