The Neander Dtorque 111 at the „Salon Nautico“

For the first time our Dtorque turbodiesel outboard was presented at the “Barcelona International Boat Show – Salon Nautico”, which took place at Port Vell, Barcelona’s old harbour, from 12 to 16 October 2016 for the 55th time.

The yearly trade fair opened its gates for 5 days for the branch of trade as well as for the wide public. More than 260 international exhibitors welcomed over 56,000 visitors from all over the world.

The Salon Nautico is one of the most attractive and interesting boat exhibition in Europe. A wide range of products is presented here, amongst others motor boats, yachts, and also sailing, fishing, and diving equipment. The five theme areas – sea, fishing, traditional sailing, beach fun and innovation offered many attractions, for example basic sailing courses and technical seminars.

Surrounded by all this our Spanish sales partner Yanmar Equipment Iberica SL presented our Dtorque 111 and even the rainy weather could not harm the visitors’ interest in our turbodiesel outboard engine. The demand was great by boat manufacturers, shipyards, fishermen and sailors, who appreciated the low inflammability of diesel.
